Games Master Voice Not Working?

The Games Master uses your microphone, which browsers only allow on secure (HTTPS) connections. Since this is a local network site, you need to tell your browser to trust it.

Option 1: Install the certificate (recommended)

Download and install the site's certificate so your browser trusts the connection. Do this once per device.

Download Certificate (cert.pem)

Linux (Chrome/Firefox)

  1. Download cert.pem above
  2. Chrome: Go to chrome://settings/certificates → Authorities tab → Import → select cert.pem → tick "Trust this certificate for identifying websites" → OK
  3. Firefox: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Certificates → View Certificates → Authorities → Import → select cert.pem → tick "Trust this CA to identify websites" → OK
  4. Refresh the site

Android Phone/Tablet

  1. Open https://10.10.10.60:8094/help in Chrome
  2. Accept the security warning ("Advanced" → "Proceed")
  3. Download cert.pem above
  4. Go to Settings → Security → Encryption & credentials → Install a certificate → CA certificate
  5. Select the downloaded cert.pem
  6. Refresh the site — mic should work now

iPhone/iPad

  1. Download cert.pem on the device
  2. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → the certificate will appear → Install
  3. Then go to Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings → enable the certificate
  4. Refresh Safari

Chromebook

  1. Download cert.pem
  2. Go to Settings → Security and Privacy → Manage certificates → Authorities → Import
  3. Select cert.pem → Trust for websites → OK

Option 2: Quick browser workaround (no cert install)

Chrome

  1. Paste this into the address bar: chrome://flags/#unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure
  2. Add https://10.10.10.60:8094 to the list
  3. Relaunch Chrome

Firefox

  1. Go to about:config
  2. Search for media.getusermedia.insecure.enabled
  3. Set it to true

Download the Game

Go to the Download page for the game binary and Linux prerequisites.

Controllers

Xbox and PlayStation controllers work via USB or Bluetooth. For split-screen, connect two controllers — the second one triggers Player 2 automatically.
